Buchanan's Shop with a Cop For over 20 years, the Buchanan Police Department, in conjunction with local area fire departments, has sponsored the Shop with A Cop Program. In fact, this program began in partnership with the Buchanan American Legion Post #51 to raise money to help economically challenged children in the Buchanan community purchase toys, family gifts, and other needed items (i.e., clothing) for Christmas.
