MICHIGAN WORKS! ANNOUNCES EMPLOYER LINEUP AT UPCOMING JOB FAIR
 
BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- If you’re looking for a job, you’ll want to join Michigan Works! at their next hiring event where an estimated 25 employers will be meeting with candidates to fill their open positions.
 
The next hiring event will take place on Thursday, July 11 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.
 
Last month’s hiring event brought 24 employers and 342 job seekers together, resulting in many on-the-spot interviews and filled positions. In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services.
The growing list of employers includes: Spectrum Human and Spectrum Community Services, Tri-County Head Start, New Products Corporation, Michigan National Guard, Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, Pero Family Farms, The Center for Growth and Independence, Fifth Third Bank, Corewell Health, Ironworkers Local 292, LifeTime Energy Rewards, ProFarm Group, Ralph Moyle, Great Lakes Eye CareGast Manufacturing, First Student Inc., Aludyne, Pearson Construction, Courtyard by Marriott, Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, Golden Shore Assisted Living, Goodwill Industries SWMI.
Attending resource providers include Michigan Works!, Lake Michigan College, ToolingU, and MedCertify.
 
Individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here.
