Wightman Hires McRobie to Lead Government Sector
Benton Harbor, Mich.— Wightman, a leading civil engineering firm known for its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions, is pleased to announce the hiring and appointment of Mark McRobie as its new Government Market Sector Leader. With this strategic addition, Wightman aims to strengthen its government sector capabilities and expand its footprint in the public infrastructure market.
McRobie brings over 16 years of experience in business development and marketing to the firm, particularly in the public sector. His career is marked by a consistent track record of winning large-scale government projects and fostering strong relationships with clients.

In his new role, McRobie will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Wightman’s government sector projects, including strategic planning and business development. He will work closely with the firm’s talented team of engineers, architects, and surveyors to ensure that Wightman’s projects meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

McRobie holds a Master of Business Administration from Charleston Southern University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Seton Hill University. He has been an active member of numerous professional organizations including the Design-Build Institute of America – Michigan Chapter, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/Michigan), and the American Segmental Bridge Institute. Mark is also a Board Member for the ACE Mentor Program of southeast Michigan. Most recently, Mark served as the Deputy Director of ACEC/Michigan. Prior to that he spent over six years at RS&H in several business development roles.
