About Us
The Corewell Health Foundation Southwest Michigan was founded in 1984 as a 501c3 non-profit organization to assist Lakeland Health. Since that time, over $35 million has been raised to create our Marie Yeager Cancer Center, the Hanson Hospice Center, the expansion and renovation of the ER's at the Niles and Watervliet hospitals, the purchase of three da vinci robotic surgical units, three telemedicine units, continuing education scholarships for our physicians and associates, and much more.
