Seeing Double at the Box Factory’s Annual Member Show
The public is invited to opening reception on Nov. 8, followed by concert

ST. JOSEPH, MI – The Box Factory for the Art’s Member Show showcases original works by over 50 regional artists, all of whom are members of the Berrien Artist Guild. More than 100 pieces representing a variety of mediums will be exhibited in galleries on all three floors of the historic building.
The public is invited, free of charge, to the Opening Reception on Friday, Nov. 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The evening’s festivities include a cash bar and refreshments.
This year’s theme is “Two of One of a Kind.” Artists were free to interpret the theme in any way they chose, so viewers can expect doubles, mirror images, juxtapositions, and other unexpected pairings. Artwork relating to the theme will be installed together. The exhibit is sponsored by Hannah and John Adent.
A special addition to the Member Show is an exhibition of works by Jan Sonneman. As a member of the Berrien Artist Guild since 1995—when the Box Factory was founded—Sonneman was one of its first studio artists and served as president for many years. She now creates colorful watercolors and collages from her home studio in St. Joseph.
The Member Show runs from November 8 to January 12, 2025. The Box Factory’s winter hours are Thursday, 12–6 p.m., and Friday–Sunday, 12–4 p.m., at 1101 Broad St. in St. Joseph.
Immediately following the opening reception is a concert by Hickory Creek Revival, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Band members Andy, Rose, Rick and Bob Willey return to their musical roots in St. Joseph with a concert featuring folk, bluegrass, Irish music, and originals. Tickets are $12-$15, available online at ticketstripe.com/hickorycreekrevival2024, or at the door.
