Edgewater Automation will host its third annual Poker Run on Saturday, September 27, 2025, to raise funds for local FIRST® Robotics teams. The event will bring together the community for a Berrien County Sheriff-escorted car and motorcycle cruise, a cookout lunch, and raffle prizes, all to support the next generation of innovators.
Participants are invited to join the fun on motorcycles, classic cars, or daily drivers as they follow a five-checkpoint route hosted at local schools by FIRST® Robotics students. Entry is $50 per card hand (cash only) and multiple players per vehicle are encouraged. All proceeds will be matched by Edgewater Automation up to $3,000.00 and will go directly to five area FIRST® Robotics teams, helping them continue their work in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
“These students are the problem-solvers and leaders of tomorrow, and it is important that we invest in them,” said Tim Tate, President of Edgewater Automation. “Programs like FIRST® Robotics play a vital role in preparing young people for the future, and we are proud to support their efforts.”
The Poker Run will begin at Edgewater Automation’s Buchanan facility (816 East 3rd Street, Suite D, Buchanan, MI) at 8:00 AM EST and will conclude at approximately 2:00 PM EST.
