From the hollers of Appalachia to the dusty highways of Texas, this show celebrates the sounds of folk, blues, country, and bluegrass that shaped a nation. These songs echo from church pews and juke joints, carried across oceans and passed down through generations. They’ve been spun
on Victrolas, rang out from jukeboxes, and hummed over radio waves — stories of hard times, good times, and the dreamers and drifters who gave this music life.
The Americana Revue brings this music home — performed by some of Michigan’s finest roots musicians. The trio features:
Dan Ripke – “A story-driven songwriter weaving Michigan back roads into melody, Guitar and Vocals,
Peter Madcat Ruth – Grammy Award Winner – Harmonica & Vocals.
James Bourland – Renowned Roots Guitarist – Guitar & Vocals.
This is American music in its raw, soulful, and storytelling form—alive, unfiltered, and unforgettable.
