Southwest Michigan’s premier contemporary dance company, CPR Dance: Inhale Movement, will present their newest concert, “Soma,” on Saturday, June 20, from 7-9PM at the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad St.

Make sure to reserve your seats! Tickets in advance are $20 for cabaret seating, $15 general admission at https://ticketstripe.com/cpr2026, or $20 at the door. Free admission for children 12 and under. Drinks will be available for purchase at the Box Bar.

This highly anticipated performance will feature original works by Executive Artistic Director: Pampalone Rabbers, 2026 Chayah Artistic Resident: Sarah Zehner, Guest Artists: Sophie Allen, Seyong Kim, and Kelsey Paschich, and Company Members: Abby Marchesseault, Dennis Davis, and Austin “Bucket” Panavong. This unique performance will also feature appearances by local guest performers, highlighting the vibrant artistic talent within the region.

“Soma” explores the theme of connection through movementexamining the relationship between the body as our internal, tangible self and our shared collective humanity. Through dynamic choreography and expressive performance, the concert invites audiences to reflect on how movement shapes our understanding of self and others.

Since its founding in 2022, CPR Dance: Inhale Movement has been dedicated to bringing professional dance to Southwest Michigan. The company strives to create meaningful opportunities for connection, creativity, and movement within the community. Rooted in the belief that dance is as fundamental to life as breathmoving and connecting us allthey create art with well-being and care as a fulcrum that doesn’t shy away from but presses into reflective evaluative works.
