The YMCA of Greater Michiana is gearing up for its annual Week of Giving – a community-driven fundraiser running from March 10–15, 2025. With a goal of raising $20,000, the initiative supports YMCA programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and community engagement. As part of the event, the YMCA is also giving back by offering free group fitness classes and special events, encouraging individuals to get involved while prioritizing their own health and well-being.

All proceeds will directly benefit the YMCA’s scholarship fund, ensuring that membership and programs remain accessible to individuals and families, regardless of financial circumstances. Each YMCA branch is working toward a $5,000 fundraising target to help reach the overall goal.

“Week of Giving is a chance for our community to come together and make a tangible impact,” said Jill Haboush, chief development officer, YMCA of Greater Michiana. “Every contribution helps us provide essential programs and services that support individuals and families throughout the region.”
