Stevensville, Michigan – The Village of Stevensville Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is creating a long-term Downtown Development Plan to chart the path for the future of Downtown Stevensville. The DDA will hold a community meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 5:30pm at Village Hall (5768 St. Joseph Avenue) to hear all ideas prior to drafting the plan. The public is encourage to attend and share their ideas!
Some topics for discussion will include:
- Public Parking lots
- Pedestrian, bike and vehicle safety
- Downtown events
- Parks
- Development opportunities
- Business incentives and financial support programs
- And more
The Village of Stevensville DDA was re-instated in June 2024. With the help of a Redevelopment Ready Communities (RRC) grant, the DDA hired a consultant to help guide this effort and expect to complete the plan by the summer.
