BENTON HARBOR (September 11th, 2023) – The 26th annual MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
returns Saturday, September 30th to the GhostLight Theatre in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

The popular MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL has carefully curated 10 short films from hundreds of
submissions worldwide to create a riveting 120-minute experience. All 10 films are qualified to enter the
Oscars of 2024! The MANHATTAN SHORT is screened in over 500 venues all around the world. One of
those venues is the Arena Cinelounge in Hollywood. This specific screening qualifies each of the selected
short films for consideration for the 2024 Academy Awards.

There is something for everyone. At the conclusion of the screening, each audience member will
complete a voting card making their choices for best film and best actor. GhostLight’s votes, along with
the votes of the hundreds of other theatres participating in the festival, will be sent to MANHATTAN
SHORT headquarters. The winners will be announced at on Monday October 9th
at 10 am EST. The directors and actors await your decision!

General Manager and Artistic Director Paul Mow said, “We are very excited to once again offer THE
MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL at The GhostLight Theatre. These films take our audiences on
wonderful journeys through the lens of filmmakers across the entire world!”

Tickets for all THE MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL are $15 and tickets are limited to only 100
patrons. Doors open at 7pm, films begin at 7:30. Beer and Wine will be available for purchase. More
