Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra Announces Its 2022 Summer Beach Series

Saint Joseph, Michigan- Not only does Southwest Michigan have the best beaches for both residents and visitors to enjoy, but it also is known for incredible musical experiences. The Southwest Symphony Orchestra announces its 2022 Summer Season which will inevitably provide people with new and lasting memories.

Featured at our July 16 concert will be our former Music Director Robin Fountain! Robin announced his retirement during the 2019-2020 season and the SMSO had planned a farewell concert for him in April 2020, however, the pandemic and its accompanying restrictions over the last two years prevented that from happening. Now, the symphony and the community will finally be able to congratulate him on his retirement and thank him for his years of service to the symphony and the community. Make sure to join us as we wish Robin the best at the My Favorite Things - Celebrating Julie Andrews concert.
