South Bend International Airport (SBN) is thrilled to announce the official launch of GoodMaps on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. GoodMaps is an interactive digital map and accessible wayfinding service offering real-time guidance for all travelers, including those with disabilities.

A special event, open to the public, will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the atrium located east of the Delta ticket counter. Attendees will experience live, hands-on demonstrations and training of the GoodMaps app, engage in conversations around accessibility and innovation, and meet the GoodMaps team to learn about the new app and interactive map features for use while traveling.

Official remarks from both GoodMaps and SBN officials start at 10:00 a.m.

"We’re excited to partner with South Bend International Airport to make travel more accessible and stress-free for everyone,” said Theresa Reno-Weber, GoodMaps CEO. “SBN is leading the way in Indiana and setting a standard for accessibility and customer service across the airport industry that we are proud to be a part of!"

“We are excited to be the first airport in the state of Indiana to offer the GoodMaps navigation app,” said Mike Daigle, South Bend International Airport’s CEO and executive director. “Our team is dedicated to pursuing continual improvement. When we learned about the GoodMaps app, we instantly knew this was something we wanted to offer to everyone who flies in and out of SBN.”

The GoodMaps: Indoor Navigation app can be download from the iOS: App Store or Android: Google Play Store.

Parking will be validated for event attendees.
