South Bend, IN. – Breeze Airways’ third nonstop flight from South Bend International Airport (SBN) takes off to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10:55 a.m. To celebrate, passengers on the inaugural flight will be treated to a gate party including cookies, beach balls, photo opportunities, and more.

Media should arrive at 9:45 a.m. at Airport Information to be escorted through security. Airport Information is located near baggage claim. Park in the short-term parking lot and bring the parking ticket in for validation. Media will be escorted onto the ramp to film the aircraft’s departure.

The flight operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays seasonally through April 26, 2025.
“We are thrilled for Breeze to offer another nonstop option to get travelers to the beaches of Southwest Florida,” said SBN CEO and Executive Director Mike Daigle. “Whether you are a first-time traveler, a seasoned second home owner, or somewhere in between, Breeze operates Seriously Nice™ flights to get you there.”

“We’re excited to add Fort Myers service from South Bend following our recent introduction of flights to Orlando,” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ Founder and CEO. “Fort Myers becomes our third destination added from South Bend since November and we look forward to even more growth in the future.”

In addition to Fort Myers, Breeze flies year-round to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) from SBN. Those flights began in November 2024.
