Bridgman, Michigan – The Greater Bridgman Area Chamber & Growth Alliance is thrilled to congratulate Lake Time Brewing & Spirits on earning a gold medal at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival (GABF) 2025 for its beer Astronaut Sauce in the “American Belgo-Style Ale” category.
This honor marks a remarkable achievement not only for Lake Time Brewing & Spirits, but also for the entire region as it continues to highlight Bridgman’s Makers on the national craft-beer map. The award comes as part of a banner year for Michigan breweries overall, with three Michigan breweries taking home gold medals at GABF — the most the state has won in this competition in 15 years.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Lake Time Brewing & Spirits and what this gold medal represents for our community,” said Nancy Kiernan, Director of the Greater Bridgman Area Chamber & Growth Alliance. “This win brings well-deserved recognition to our town, highlights the quality of local craft brewing, and underscores Bridgman as a destination for beer lovers.”
Lake Time’s success at GABF, the nation’s largest and most competitive craft beer competition, shows the growing strength and creativity of small breweries in southwestern Michigan. In 2025, the festival judged more than 8,300 beers across all 50 states, and awarded 347 total medals to 273 breweries and cideries.
