Lake Side Fit is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its brand-new location at 4055 Lake Street, marking a significant milestone in a journey that began as a simple idea and has grown into something far greater than imagined. To commemorate this exciting new chapter, the Greater Bridgman Chamber & Growth Alliance (CGA) and the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber invite the community to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, February 28th, at 4:30 p.m., followed by an Open House on Saturday, March 1st from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Both events will provide a perfect opportunity for the community to explore the new space, meet the team, and learn more about everything Lake Side Fit has to offer.
Lacey Lucas opened her Lake Side Fit studio in downtown Bridgman in June of 2019, initially offering a variety of fitness classes for a wide range of fitness levels before quickly expanding to offer cardio equipment, weights, circuit machines, and more.
In September 2020, they relocated to a new space on Red Arrow Highway next to Bryan’s Automotive. This move allowed for even greater expansion, including a 24-hour gym with machines and weights, a larger area for fitness class attendees, and the addition of wellness services. The wellness area features a tanning bed, infrared sauna, red-light therapy room, massage therapy, and a shower.
Fast forward to July 2023, when an incredible opportunity presented itself. Lacey and her husband had the chance to purchase the very building they had envisioned from the beginning. After months of dedication and hard work, they proudly opened the doors to this newly transformed facility in January of 2025. The new location will continue to offer group fitness classes, personal training, 24-hour access, tanning, an infrared sauna, kids’ gymnastics, and functional fitness classes for kids.
