KB4C (Kiteboard 4 Cancer) Returns to Michigan for the Second Annual Event, October 11th-18th

KB4C, the wind sport fundraiser for the nonprofit Project Koru, will take place in Michigan from October 11th to 18th. This marks the second year that the event will be held in Michigan, featuring a week-long endurance race and fundraiser.

Unlike typical wind sport events, KB4C combines both fundraising and kiting elements, where riders compete in both aspects. All proceeds from the event benefit Project Koru, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adult cancer survivors find healing and renewal beyond their diagnosis. Project Koru's programs, funded directly by KB4C participants and fundraisers, have supported over 700 young adults worldwide.

The event will culminate on Friday, October 18th, with a closing party at the Box Factory in St. Joseph, MI. Attendees are invited to celebrate the event’s accomplishments, enjoy awards and prizes, and connect with others passionate about the cause. A $10 suggested donation will be accepted at the door.

KB4C, with its origins in Oregon since 2007, has expanded to find passionate support from the people in the Michigan area. Through the funds raised, KB4C continues to make a significant impact on the lives of young adults affected by cancer, changing lives in the most fun way possible.
