BENTON HARBOR, MICH. – European Royal Classical Ballet will bring Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake to Southwest Michigan for one performance only at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center Jenkins Theatre in Benton Harbor at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Tickets are on sale now for this newly added special engagement.
Swan Lake tells a timeless tale of romance and transformation. Set to Tchaikovsky's iconic and groundbreaking score, this poignant drama of true love and sacrifice captivates audiences to this day with its range of technically and emotionally challenging roles for both Principal dancers and the Corps de Ballet.
European Royal Classical Ballet is an expansion of Polski Ballet Królewski (The Polish Royal Ballet). After many years of successful performances and tours in Poland and throughout Europe, Polish Royal Ballet grew to include European Royal Classical Ballet. The creators and directors of ERCB are elated to unveil a production crafted with the finest artists and stagecraft from their European tours as they travel throughout the United States.

About the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center
The Lake Michigan College Mendel Center raised the curtain on its first Mendel Center season performance in the fall of 1992. Since then, it has presented performances and guest speakers to more than half a million patrons in the 1,489-seat Mendel Center Jenkins Theatre. Grand Upton Hall, first opened in 1979 and fully renovated in 2019, is a 13,700-square-foot venue serving the community as the host site for meetings, banquets, trade shows, weddings, and other celebrations. The 229-seat Hanson Theatre, which was renovated in 2020, hosts numerous Lake Michigan College Visual & Performing Arts Department performances as well as a variety of Mendel Center and community events.
The Mendel Center is 30 minutes from Niles and 40 minutes from the Kalamazoo and South Bend areas. It is located on the Lake Michigan College campus at 2755 E.
