Hungerford and Bridgman High School Team Up to Showcase Student Art

St. Joseph, Mich., April 24, 2025 – Hungerford, a locally owned leader in the accounting, technology and wealth management industries, has once again partnered with Bridgman High School for its annual student art collaboration, now in its fifth year. This creative partnership invites young artists from Jake Zapor’s art classes to explore a meaningful theme, this year’s being resilience — through original concept drawings.

After a round of team voting, two standout students were selected as this year’s winners: Alexa Clark, a freshman, and Tierney Thomas, a sophomore. Both artists received a stipend and professional art supplies to bring their concepts to life. Their completed pieces are proudly displayed at Hungerford’s St. Joseph office at 800 Ship Street, serving as a vibrant reminder of the power of art to inspire and connect.

“This partnership is one of the highlights of our year,” said Brian Wisneski, Shareholder at Hungerford’s St. Joseph office. “It’s incredible to see the creativity and thoughtfulness these students bring to the table, especially when interpreting a theme like resilience. Their work adds so much character and meaning to our space, and we’re honored to support and celebrate young talent in our community.”

Jake Zapor, Bridgman High School art teacher, added, “This opportunity gives students a chance to see their work valued outside the classroom, which is incredibly meaningful. It boosts their confidence and shows them that their voices, ideas, and artistic expression matter. We’re grateful to Hungerford for making this connection possible year after year.”
