BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN – September 15, 2026 – Honor Credit Union is pleased to announce Chris Swartz as its new branch manager in Hartford.
Swartz brings a diverse background to his new role. His professional experience includes management, sales, marketing, and frontline member service positions, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of how to support both employees and members. He also proudly served six years in the Indiana Army National Guard, where he developed strong leadership skills and a dedication to serving others.
"My time in the National Guard taught me that while not every situation goes according to plan, we always have control over how we respond," said Swartz. "Those experiences instilled resilience, discipline, and a strong commitment to accomplishing the mission while taking care of the people around me. As Hartford Branch Manager, I look forward to applying those lessons by helping our team stay focused on what we can control, while fostering an environment where people feel empowered and equipped to succeed. The leadership principles I gained through military service have shaped my approach to leadership, and I am excited to bring that mindset to serving our members and the Hartford community."
In his new position, Swartz will focus on building relationships throughout the Hartford community and ensuring members receive exceptional service and financial guidance. He is passionate about helping individuals succeed and believes strong community connections are at the heart of a thriving credit union.
