Honor Credit Union Welcomes Johnathon Jorgensen as Commercial Loan Officer  

BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN – MAY 10, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is proud to announce the hire of  Johnathon Jorgensen as Commercial Loan Officer (CLO). Jorgensen will serve the greater Baroda, Benton  Harbor, Coloma, South Haven, Stevensville, and St. Joseph communities.  

As part of the Business Services team, Johnathon will work alongside Honor’s Member Center Managers,  Community Development Officers, and additional stakeholders to create relationships, serve the  community, and optimize the business member experience. Jorgensen will be heavily involved in  developing and maintaining business member relationships and identifying opportunities for growth  opportunities within the communities the credit union serves.  

Before joining the team at Honor, Johnathon worked as a mortgage lender for Ruoff Mortgage in South  Bend, Ind. Prior to that, he served as a Commercial Loan Underwriter for three years while living in  Tennessee.  

Jorgensen is excited to contribute to the success of local businesses in his role as a CLO and help them  achieve their goals.

He holds an associate degree from Lake Michigan College and was recently accepted to LSU Shreveport  to pursue a bachelor’s in management and administration.  

Johnathon grew up in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and now resides in the Southwest Michigan area with  his wife and two sons. Prior to moving back to the area, he and his family lived in Chattanooga, TN, for  almost nine years.
