BUCHANAN, MICHIGAN – JULY 29, 2026 – Honor Credit Union, in partnership with Data Guardian, will host a Free Community Shred Day in Buchanan, MI. The event will be co-hosted at valued business partner, Harding’s Market on Thursday, August 13, from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM and will concludes Honor’s 2026 Shred Days.
Buchanan’s Free Community Shred Day will operate as a drive-thru service, where Honor team members will assist in collecting documents for shredding. While shredding will not take place on-site, all materials will be securely transported and destroyed by Honor’s trusted partner, Data Guardian. To ensure efficiency, each household is asked to limit shredding to 10 boxes or bags per event.
Free Community Shred Days support Honor’s people-first mission by helping protect personal information while reinforcing a broader commitment to environmental responsibility through services like e-statements and online banking.
As the final scheduled Free Community Shred Day of the 2026 season, Buchanan’s event may conclude early if shred truck capacity is reached. Date and location are subject to change.
