Casey’s Opens Third Berrien County Location

Berrien Springs Official Opens April 18th
Berrien Springs, Michigan – Three stores later, the love and appreciation that Casey’s Gas Station and Convenience Store has for Southwest Michigan is becoming clearer. Officially opening the doors on April 18th in Berrien Springs, Casey’s newest location offers a full-service stop for travelers up and down the U.S. 31 Bypass and M-139.

A ribbon celebration will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 10:00 a.m. with Oronoko Township, the Village of Berrien Springs and the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber. The public is invited to join the celebration in person and discover what makes Casey’s a community favorite. Additionally, there will be a special check presentation to the Berrien Springs Public Schools as part of the Casey’s community giveback program.

Casey’s first opened their doors as a general store in 1968 in Boone, Iowa, since then they have grown from the heart of one community to the next. Today, they have over 2,600 locations across 17 states, but still operate with the same purpose “to make life better for communities and guests every day.”

“We’ve witnessed first-hand the success that the two previous Casey’s stores have experienced in their respective communities in Berrien County and are thrilled that Berrien Springs will now join them as home to the third Michigan location,” says Oronoko Township Supervisor Mike Hildebrand.

“Casey’s has already established itself as a friend to Southwest Michigan with stores located in the communities of Watervliet and Bridgman. With the addition of Berrien Springs they continue to cement themselves as an industry leader and but more importantly a partner to Southwest Michigan,” says Arthur Havlicek, President & CEO of the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber.

Known for their homemade pizza, Casey’s has spent over 35 years perfecting the art of providing a delicious slice or pie to travelers, friends, and families across the Midwest. As the fifth largest pizza chain in the U.S., they’ve become well known for their breakfast pizza, specialty pizzas like Taco, and kid-favorite plain cheese and pepperoni.
