Benton Harbor’s Mighty Dog Roofing Wins Ambassador Award
Benton Harbor, MI – One of Southwest Michigan’s newest businesses has already gained spotlight and recognition on a national level. Benton Harbor’s own Mighty Dog Roofing received the Brand Ambassador award for 2023 at their annual brand convention held in March.
The Brand Ambassador award is one of four (4) that Mighty Dog Roofing recognizes every year among their 150+ owners and is the only one not awarded based on a measurable result but instead is selected by the entire franchise base. Criteria includes overall impact on the local respective community, contributions to the system, promoting the overall Mighty Dog brand and overcoming hardship throughout the year.
Benton Harbor’s Mighty Dog Roofing is a family-owned and operated business led by Tom Burrell (President) and Katie Burrell (General Manager). As the President of Mighty Dog Roofing, Tom brings a wealth of experience to the table. With an MBA from Indiana University and a BS in Operations Management from Ball State University, Tom has spent the last 30 years honing his skills in global and domestic sourcing and supply chain leadership. He is also a certified Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager (CPSM) and a 2-time Ironman finisher.
As General Manager of Mighty Dog Roofing, Katie brings a strong background in history and education to the team. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts & Sciences in Public History from Western Michigan University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Kappa Phi.
The award comes immediately after the Burrell’s first year of business with Mighty Dog Roofing. “We are thankful to get to represent Mighty Dog Roofing as Brand Ambassador, especially after just completing our first year of business.
