Saint Joseph, Michigan – In 2024, Attitudes Salon, a premier hair salon in St. Joseph, Michigan, announced a significant rebrand aimed at elevating the salon guest experience and showcasing the salon’s commitment to excellence. The transformation included a fresh visual identity, new signage, and an updated interior, all designed to reflect the salon’s dedication to high-quality service and salon guest satisfaction.
This year, the salon went through a full interior glow-up, and they are thrilled to invite you to a ribbon cutting on Friday, July 25th celebrating their newly rebranded and remodeled space along with the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber from 3:00-5:00pm, with speaking engagements to begin at 3:30pm. Attitudes Salon has a rich local history. Founder Donna Hill first opened the business—then known as Attitudes Creative Hair Designs—in the Village Square in Stevensville in November 1993. In July 2005, she moved the salon to its current location of 4100 M-139 suite #100 in Saint Joseph, MI 49085 and changed the name to Attitudes Salon.
The seeds for this latest transformation were planted during a Zoom call in early 2024 with Donna’s salon consultant. Inspired by the idea of refreshing the interior, Donna realized that a complete rebrand would provide the perfect foundation for the salon’s future. She partnered with Johanna White of Design by Jo Studio to develop a new visual identity that truly captured the heart and uniqueness of Donna and her team. Over the fall of 2024, the new brand came to life—from a sleek website to a striking new sign and an interior redesign where no detail was overlooked.
Once the design plans were in place, Donna, with the help of her family, tackled the full renovation themselves—remarkably completing the project and reopening for business in just 13 days. The result is a stunning space radiating laid-back luxury, earning enthusiastic praise from salon guests who love the refreshed atmosphere.
