BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN— January 29, 2025—Honor Credit Union is excited to continue its 15- year tradition of supporting Michigan students through its 2025-2026 Community Commitment Scholarship Program. This year, Honor will award a total of $30,000 in scholarships, providing 12 community-driven high school seniors with $2,500 each to help them achieve their college or trade school education goals.
Honor Credit Union’s history is rooted in supporting education, beginning over 90 years ago as Berrien Teachers Credit Union. Though its membership has grown and expanded to 28 locations across Michigan, Honor’s dedication to serving educators, students, and community members remains at the core of its mission.

These scholarships are our way of helping the next generation achieve their dreams and work toward bright futures."
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be a primary account holder at Honor Credit Union at the time of application and scholarship award presentation.
The student must be a graduating high school senior in 2025, attending college or trade school in the fall of 2025.
Students must complete the online application, including a short-form essay detailing their academic achievements and community involvement.
Applications must be submitted online by Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Paper applications delivered to branch locations will not be considered. Scholarship recipients will be notified in late April 2025. For the application form and full details, visit www.honorcu.com/scholarship.
