About Us
The St. Joseph Youth Sports Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 organization in 2021 to oversee the planning, funding, and construction of a new community sports park in St. Joseph Charter Township.
Located at the corner of Hollywood and Maiden Lane on land donated by the Hanson Family, the park will include multiple fields for both flag and rocket football play, 2 baseball fields, 1 dedicated softball field, 1 hybrid softball/Miracle League field for children with disabilities, indoor batting cages, locker rooms, and concession stands. In addition, the space will include handicap-accessible playgrounds and a splash pad, and a 1.5-mile lit walking path with fitness stations.
Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of financial or physical ability, can participate in organized sports.
