The St Joe River Lodge is a riverside haven where timeless beauty meets natural serenity. Nestled on 55 private acres in Buchanan, Michigan. Our historic Lodge and cottages offer the ideal backdrop for company events, retreats, photo shoots and unforgettable wedding celebrations. The Lodge was built in 1921 blending vintage craftsmanship with modern comfort. The main lodge features five spacious en-suite bedrooms with large stone fireplace in the Great Hall. We have two private guest cottages that provide three more en-suite bedrooms.The lodge is surrounded by 55 acres of wooded trails, meadows, and scenic riverfront views. We offer endless possibilities for wedding ceremonies, receptions, photography in every season and guest suites for family reunions.
