The Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is a professional trade association for real estate licensees and an ancillary service provider for the real estate industry.
Vision: Maintaining the REALTOR’S® value in the real estate transaction.
Purpose: Developing services and benefits for the Members that address the changes in our industry, enabling them to effectively and successfully conduct their business and be an advocate for the protection of private property rights.
Real Estate licensees and certified or licensed appraisers who are Members of the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS® are REALTORS® and are authorized to use the term REALTORS® and the REALTORS® logo, which are the registered trademarks of the National Association of REALTORS® , in conjunction with their real estate business.
The Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS® provides a Multiple Listing System (MLS) to their principal broker REALTORS® Members through the Real Estate Information System of Southwestern Michigan, Inc.. The MLS allows Member Offices to cooperate in the sale of each other’s listings and receive compensation for the cooperative sale.
