Picture Frame Builder
The successful candidate will perform a set of fundamental frame building and general framing skills including: chopping and joining custom frame moulding using power tools, hand tools and woodworking equipment; detailed finishing work of custom built or ordered frames; moulding/frame repairs and customized work as needed. The candidate will assist with receiving and storing of moulding and framing supplies in an organized fashion for easy retrieval and inventory management. The candidate will assist with special projects including custom woodworking and general maintenance of shop equipment and workshop space. Candidate will be required to wear safety glasses, gloves or other safety equipment as needed specific to each task. Safety standards are required.
Secondary duties may include assembling of artwork into frames of all mediums as needed; additional training and guidance provided. Other duties as assigned.
As the candidate develops a proficient level of skills and a clear understanding of the required quality and consistency involved with our finished product at Waterfront House of Framing & Fashion, additional specialized projects will be delegated to candidate.

• Great eye for detail
• High quality and efficient workmanship
• Frame Shop experience helpful
• Background in woodworking recommended
Position takes direction from experienced frame builder for training purposes; ongoing mentorship provided. Position reports directly to the shop owner.
10 to 20 hours per week as needed
Position pay range: $14 - $18/hour
