Southwest Michigan Civic Learning Sessions
FREE three-part in-person community series features balanced, research-informed conversations on topics relevant to Van Buren, Berrien, and Cass County communities, and is facilitated by Education Access Consulting on behalf of Southwest Michigan Planning Commission. The sessions are educational and non-advocacy in nature, designed to elevate community questions, lived experiences, information needs, and differing perspectives.

Topics covered across the rest of the series include farmland preservation, local ownership and value-added agriculture, and housing affordability, density, and zoning. Livestream and recording options will also be available. Registration is highly encouraged, as in-person seating may be limited.
