A historic motel along Michigan’s southwest shoreline is entering a new era. The former Bridgman Inn has been thoughtfully renovated and reimagined as The Warren Hotel, a boutique hospitality destination blending modern design, elevated amenities, and the laid back charm of Lake Michigan living.
The Warren Hotel, located at 9999 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106, will officially celebrate its opening with a public ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, June 16, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Remarks will begin at 5:15PM.
Community members, local businesses, and visitors are invited to attend the celebration, tour the transformed property, and experience the vision behind Bridgman’s newest boutique hotel destination.
Conveniently located near Weko Beach Park and Warren Dunes State Park, The Warren Hotel features twenty four professionally designed guest rooms, an in ground pool, and thoughtfully curated gathering spaces designed to create memorable guest experiences along Michigan’s southwest coastline.
Originally constructed in the 1950s as one of the area’s earliest roadside lodging properties, the motel has long been part of Bridgman’s hospitality history. In 2024, the previous ownership completed significant structural updates, including the removal of one wing of the original building, resulting in the property’s current twenty four room footprint.
Under the ownership of Michigan based entrepreneurs Tony Stancato and Jordan Painter, the property has undergone a complete interior and exterior transformation while still honoring its legacy as a classic American motor lodge.
The Warren Hotel’s design is guided by a concept the ownership team describes as “comfort meets modern Midwest cool.” Rich textures, warm tones, layered details, and elevated finishes combine to create an atmosphere that feels sophisticated yet approachable. The aesthetic is intended to evoke the feeling of a moody Lake Michigan hideaway where guests can relax, reconnect, and enjoy an experience that feels both thoughtful and distinctive.
Renovations include professionally designed guest rooms, upgraded outdoor gathering spaces, and a variety of new amenities including a pickleball court, sauna, fire pit, hot tub, and refreshed pool area. The property was intentionally designed to encourage connection, relaxation, and the spontaneous moments that often define memorable travel experiences.
“We see The Warren Hotel as a natural extension of this stretch of Lake Michigan,” said owners Tony Stancato and Jordan Painter. “Our goal is to create a place that feels thoughtful, relaxed, and welcoming where guests can enjoy elevated design, great amenities, and the easy rhythm of the lake all in one place.”
The Warren Hotel is now preparing to welcome guests for the 2026 summer travel season. Guests interested in learning more or joining the hotel’s reservation email list can visit staythewarren.com and follow renovation progress on The Warren Hotel on Facebook or staythewarren on Instagram.
Stancato and Painter are also the proprietors of Windmoor Lodge, a boutique lodge in northern Michigan, and continue to focus on thoughtful hospitality experiences and destination driven properties throughout Michigan.
