Join us as we celebrate an exciting new chapter for PACE of Southwest Michigan with the grand opening of their new Niles facility! The open house style celebration will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 60 E Main Street in Niles. Speaking engagements will begin at 3:15 PM, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
PACE of Southwest Michigan will be opening the doors to their new facility in the heart of downtown Niles in June 2026. This expansion involved a complete renovation of the property at 60 E Main Street to include an adult day center and a primary care clinic. It will be the organization's second location in Southwest Michigan, providing eligible senior citizens support services to help them remain independent in their homes. This expansion will allow the program to serve up to 150 more participants and will create more than 10 jobs.
The new center is located within half a mile of multiple senior apartment complexes in Niles, 5.5 miles from the neighboring community of Buchanan, and within 15 miles of the Cass County communities of Dowagiac, Cassopolis, and Edwardsburg, all of which are in PACE of Southwest Michigan’s current service area.
The new facility will offer the same services as PACE of Southwest Michigan’s current center in St. Joseph, including a medical clinic, therapy gym, weekday activities, and meals for participants. Executive Director, Mike Zdrodowski comments on the new location, “we’re excited to expand the PACE program to serve more people in southern Berrien and Cass counties. Our Niles location will help more seniors continue living independently in the homes they love. We look forward to building new relationships and supporting older adults.”
