Join us for a special community open house hosted by the Berrien County Health Department on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 1205 N. Front St. in Niles. Ribbon cutting and remarks begin at 11:30AM.
This event is a great opportunity to explore their newly renovated space—conveniently located just across the hall from their previous South County office—while connecting with the dedicated team working every day to support the health and well-being of our community.
Since 1964, the Berrien County Health Department has proudly served the community by protecting health, preventing disease, and promoting well-being for residents across Berrien County. Through accessible public health programs and services, we work every day to meet the changing needs of our community.
From health education and community outreach to environmental health, emergency preparedness, and direct public health services, BCHD remains committed to improving quality of life and supporting healthier futures for all who live, work, and visit Berrien County.
During the open house, guests are invited to tour the updated space, learn more about our programs and services, and meet the team behind the work.
The Berrien County Health Department will provide large outdoor tents, seating, and light refreshments, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all attendees. While they've refreshed their space, their commitment remains the same. They are proud to continue serving the community without any interruption in services.
Regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with late-night clinic hours available for added convenience.
