Ribbon Cutting: Niles Charter Township Hall

You’re invited to join the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber and the Greater Niles Chamber on Friday, October 3rd from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Niles Charter Township Hall (320 Bell Rd, Niles, MI 49120) for a special ribbon cutting celebration. Speaking engagements will begin at 10:30am, featuring remarks from representatives of the Township, members of the Township Board, Wightman, and DJ Construction as we gather to recognize the completion of the Township Hall’s renovation and addition project.

The Niles Charter Township Hall renovation and addition is now complete, resulting in a modern, accessible, and welcoming facility realized through close collaboration between the Township, architect, and contractor. Guided by an iterative design and construction process, the team transformed the existing 4,803 SF first floor and seamlessly integrated a 2,382 SF addition, creating a refreshed 7,185 SF home for Township staff and services.

The project was driven by the Township’s priorities: enhancing accessibility, reimagining existing spaces to unlock their full potential, and providing a warm, functional environment for the public. Safety and collaboration were also placed at the forefront, ensuring that the building not only supports efficient daily operations but also strengthens community engagement.

With its renewed identity and purpose, the completed Township Hall now stands as a welcoming, functional, and enduring civic asset that will serve the community for generations to come.
