Ribbon Cutting: New Buffalo Township Disc Golf Course

Join New Buffalo Township and SMRC as we celebrate the opening of the new 18-hole disc golf course at Glassman Park on October 31st from 11:00-12:15pm. Speaking engagements will begin at 11:!5am. 

New Buffalo Township is proud to announce the completion of a new 18-hole disc golf course at Glassman Park, located at the end of Glassman Road in Union Pier.

The course includes an ADA-accessible tee pad, ensuring that players of all abilities can enjoy the sport. Funding for the project was made possible through generous grants from The Pokagon Fund and a Michigan State appropriation secured through Representative Andrews’ office.

In addition to the disc golf course, Glassman Park also features a scenic walking path and an ADA-accessible kayak launch, offering even more ways for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors. The Township looks forward to welcoming disc golf enthusiasts and park-goers alike to experience all that Glassman Park has to offer.
