Cornerstone Caregiving, a trusted provider of in‑home, non‑medical senior care services, is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location at 2900 S. State Street, Suite 4E, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. The celebration will include an official ribbon‑cutting ceremony, hosted in partnership with the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber, on Thursday, August 7th from 3pm to 5 pm with the official ceremony beginning at 3:30pm. 

Cornerstone Caregiving–Benton Harbor/St. Joseph is staffed by experienced caregivers offering personalized care plans tailored to the unique needs of seniors, veterans, and individuals requiring Alzheimer’s, dementia, respite, hospice, palliative, and hospital recovery support. The company’s mission is to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes. 

“We’re thrilled to open our doors in St. Joseph and deepen our partnership with this vibrant community,” said Krystyna Watson, Operating Director. “Our team brings over 25 years of healthcare experience and a heartfelt dedication to delivering compassionate, reliable care to seniors and veterans throughout Berrien County and surrounding areas.” 

Krystyna Watson, Operating Director, has a foundational career as a nurse and has spent the last 10 years assisting clients and families navigate the different levels of care within their communities. Witnessing firsthand the profound positive impact that aging in place can have on seniors, she became passionate about advocating for their freedom and quality of life. Her dedication shines through in every aspect of her leadership: she’s committed to helping each client maintain the highest level of independence with compassion in in‑home support. “Treating each family as I would my own is not just a philosophy—it’s my promise to the community,” says Krystyna.

The ribbon‑cutting event will feature:

• A welcome address by the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber representative
• Raffles and door prizes
• An opportunity to meet caregivers and staff
• Refreshments, hor'dourves, and light networking

Local leaders, referral partners, healthcare providers, and community members are invited to attend. Parking is available on-site.
