The Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend a Public Town Hall featuring gubernatorial candidate Mike Duggan on Monday, April 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Box Factory for the Arts.
This open-to-the-public event will include remarks from Duggan at 5:30 p.m., followed by a fireside chat with Chamber leadership and an opportunity for audience Q&A—offering a unique chance for community members and business leaders to engage directly with a leading candidate for Michigan governor.
As the region’s “Voice for Business” and a 501(c)(6) organization, the Chamber regularly creates opportunities for candidates and elected officials to hear firsthand from local employers about the issues shaping Southwest Michigan’s economy. This town hall caps off a full day of Chamber-led advocacy stops across Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties.
“Hosting forums like this ensures candidates for the state’s highest office understand the priorities of our businesses and communities,” said Arthur Havlicek, CEO of the Chamber. “We’re excited to welcome Mike Duggan and provide the public with direct access to a key voice in the 2026 gubernatorial race.”
A former Mayor of Detroit, Duggan has emerged as a prominent independent candidate, with recent polling indicating a highly competitive three-way race.
