Emergency Shelter Services Donation Drive - UFCU

United Federal Credit Union has teamed up with the Emergency Shelter Services (ESS) thrift store 6 Degrees Resale to host a Home Goods & Small Furniture Donation Drive. ESS will have their 6 Degrees Resale truck in the parking lot at United’s South State Street branch collecting the following items:

• Small Furniture (end tables, foot stools, etc.)
• Kitchen Items
• Table Linens/Serving Dishes
• Artwork, Picture Frames, and Mirrors
• Lamps
• Vases, Knick-Knacks
• Rugs
• Bed Linens
• Seasonal/Holiday Décor

ALL items must be in good condition—unbroken, unstained, and clean.

Emergency Shelter Services, a non-profit based in Benton Harbor, is an entry point to provide support for those at risk of homelessness. Every night, ESS provides 28 beds to families across Berrien County, Michigan, and support its guests as they look for stable housing. United Federal Credit Union lives the philosophy of ‘people helping people’ and is proud to partner with ESS by helping collect household items that can be resold and provide financial resources for ESS to continue its work in the southwest Michigan community. The resale of home goods and furniture is one of two primary ways ESS gets its funding.
