The Makers Market, a modern interpretation of the traditional craft fair, returns to the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad St., St. Joseph, MI, as part of Small Business Saturday. This year the Makers Market has been expanded to accommodate both Saturday, November 26, and Sunday, November 27, shoppers. The hours on Saturday will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $5 per person entry donation at the door helps support programs at the Berrien Artist Guild, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization.
The event offers the opportunity for artists and artisans from local studios and workshops throughout the region to showcase their work. Hand-crafted gifts and goods will include a variety of mediums including woodwork, leatherwork, stonework, glass, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, soaps, lotions, books, paintings, food and paper by 43 vendors. The Market will be held on all three floors of the Box Factory building.
Visitors to the Makers Market will also be able to view the current Annual Member Show, titled What Defines You?, exhibiting in all four galleries. Box Factory artists will welcome visitors to their studios for additional shopping opportunities. Food and a cash bar will be available both days.
