Corewell Health is excited to offer employers and their employees free First Aid, CPR/AED training through a MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training grant.
According to Part 472, Medical Services and First Aid “an employer shall ensure the ready availability of a person or persons who are adequately trained to render first aid.”
FREE CPR/AED, First Aid & Bloodborne Pathogen Training includes:
Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid: Corewell Health partners with American Heart Association to provide employers a nationally recognized approved program that is designed to help employees develop CPR and First Aid skills. In this course, participants will be taught Adult First Aid, CPR/AED, & Choking rescue.
Bloodborne Pathogen Review: Session reviews MIOSHA PART 554, Bloodborne Infectious Diseases standard. BBP’s are infectious microorganisms in human blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) that can cause disease in humans. This class reinforces ways for your employees to stay safe when providing First Aid/CPR.
