DESCRIPTION:Please join us Thursday\, May 16th at 5:30 p.m. for the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the New Height's CCDA Laundry Hub at 2121 Red Arrow Highway in Benton Harbor.\n\n* Please park at the First Church of God Benton Heights campus and walk down*\n\n\nWith the nearest laundromat over four miles from Benton Heights\, access to clean laundry has been a felt need for many residents for decades. And while New Heights Laundry Hub will meet this need\, its design will leverage that advantage to bring in other resources.\n\nThe Laundry Hub will help reduce the barriers of intimidation of social agencies and provide access to services in a very natural setting. While patrons wait for their laundry\, they will also be able to connect with community resources.\n\nAfter breaking ground Spring of 2023\, this multifunctional space with state-of-the-art laundry facilities and 800 square feet of "flex" space for partner agencies to offer wrap-around services will officially open a year later!\n\nNew Heights CCDA was founded in 2017 to equip our under-resourced neighbors in Benton Heights and the surrounding Berrien County\, MI area through community engagement\, resources and tools needed to move from scarcity\, to stability\, to success\, while empowering each with the love of Jesus. New Heights CCDA operates New Heights Auto Services\, an automotive repair social enterprise\, Community Food Network\, a program to address chronic food insecurity\, and the Laundry Hub\, a community resource center in Benton Heights containing a small laundromat.
