The trail honors the memory of former Supervisor John Gast and stands as a lasting tribute to his legacy within this community.\n\n\n\nRunning from Lake Township Park at its southern terminus to the Bridgman High School and City of Bridgman at its northern end\, the trail offers a safe\, accessible route for walking\, running\, and biking. Whether residents are commuting between the park and the city\, enjoying a morning jog\, or taking a family bike ride\, the John Gast Memorial Trail makes active transportation and recreation easier and safer than ever before.\n\n\n\nAt the heart of the trail is Lake Township Park\, which offers a wide range of amenities for the whole family.
