Today\, LA-based band \;Dogstar \;(guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose\, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves) announce their return with their 4th \;studio album \;All In Now\, \;produced by Nick Launay (IDLES\, Amyl and the Sniffers\, Yeah Yeah Yeahs\, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds)\, via their own label Dillon Street Records. &ldquo\;The album really sets up the energy at the heart of this album and the fun that we&rsquo\;ve \;always \;had playing together\,&rdquo\; \;Robert Mailhouse shares. &ldquo\;We couldn&rsquo\;t fucking \;wait\,&rdquo\; Keanu Reeves says about Dogstar&rsquo\;s collective desire to get right back to the studio. &ldquo\;Personally\, I \;loved \;it all. \;For me\, the attitude was like\, &lsquo\;let&rsquo\;s work hard and let&rsquo\;s GO.&rsquo\;&rdquo\; &ldquo\;It felt like our last album was our ticket into a party\,&rdquo\; says Bret Domrose. &ldquo\;And now we&rsquo\;ve shown up to the party &ndash\; the three of us.&rdquo\; \;All In Now \;is available to pre-order and pre-save on all formats \;here.
\n\nThe band\, who Rolling Stone hailed for their &ldquo\;sleek\, post-grunge alt-rock&rdquo\; share the first cut off the album\, the eponymous &ldquo\;All In Now.&rdquo\; &ldquo\;&lsquo\;All In Now&rsquo\; just whacks you in the head\,&rdquo\; Mailhouse shares\, &ldquo\;talk about a live song. Keanu came up with the title for that song too\, and it sort of summed up where and who we are as a band today. It just feels true to us. \n\nTheir 25-Date &ldquo\;All In Now&rdquo\; North American tour is set to kick off on May 28th \;in cities including Austin\, Nashville\, Washington DC\, Philadelphia\, New York City and more (full dates below). \n\nDogstar credits legendary producer Nick Launay &mdash\; whose has worked with artists from Midnight Oil to Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds to Yeah Yeah Yeahs and \;Amyl and the Sniffers &mdash\; with the fully realized sound and the energy of \;All In Now. As Domrose recalls\, &ldquo\;Our management put Nick&rsquo\;s name on a list of possible producers.&rdquo\; \;&ldquo\;And we all thought it was a typo. Like this guy will \;never \;work with us\,&rdquo\; Mailhouse adds with a laugh. For Nick Launay\, &ldquo\;Working with Bret\, Robert\, and Keanu was extremely fun because it brought things back to why people form bands and make music. These three friends wrote some killer songs and wanted to push some boundaries in the studio. \;It&rsquo\;s all passion and no BS. For me\, it&rsquo\;s always a treat working with such capable musicians because the sky&rsquo\;s the limit when experimenting\, and that&rsquo\;s exactly what we did\, while smiling all the way.&rdquo\;
