DESCRIPTION:IT'S OFFICIAL   UNITED WAY OF SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN IS BRINGING BACK ROCK THE BOAT THIS SUMMER!\n\nAhoy mateys! ROCK THE BOAT is UWSM's signature fundraising event where teams build boats out of cardboard and duct tape and then race in the St. Joseph River. The community has been anxiously awaiting the return of this wildly popular event\, which went on hiatus in 2020. This is a great team-building opportunity for organizations. Trophies\, bragging rights\, glory\, and legendary stories are up for grabs.\n\nThe event will take place on Thursday\, July 11\, starting at 5 p.m.\, at The Inn at Harbor Shores\, 800 Whitwam Dr.\, in St. Joseph. There will be two food trucks\, drinks and food at Plank's Tavern\, and a boat-load of fun!
