South Bend International Airport (SBN) will celebrate the arrival of Allegiant’s nonstop flight to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) on Monday, November 25, 2019.
Passengers boarding the inaugural flight will be treated to steel drum island music by Kent Arnsbarger, cake, SBN sunglasses and beach balls, and an interactive photo opportunity at the gate.
Weather permitting, media will be escorted onto the ramp to film a water cannon salute celebrating the arrival of flight #2966 from SRQ scheduled to land at 10:33 a.m. Media should arrive at 9:30 a.m. at Airport Information to be escorted through security. Airport Information is located near baggage claim.
“As the temperatures fall in South Bend, we are excited for Allegiant to begin nonstop flights to Sarasota/Bradenton,” said Mike Daigle, South Bend International Airport CEO and executive director. “Sarasota’s expansive coastline with six islands offer the opportunity to make countless memories with family and friends.”
